Newsweek reports that the Rolling Stones’ all-new-music album, “A Bigger Bang,” due out in early September, contains a song called “Sweet Neo Con”--a putdown of the neoconservatives who populate the upper echelons of the Bush administration and were instrumental in leading America into the Iraq war. The lyrics include:

You call yourself a Christian, I call you a hypocrite.
You call yourself a patriot, well I think you're full of shit.
How come you're so wrong, my sweet neo-con?

The full song apparently also mocks national security advisor-turned-secretary of state Condoleezza Rice. I guess Mick Jagger can forget about being invited to this year’s White House Christmas party ...
