[[M E D I A]] * I’ve been drawn away this week by other assignments, but I don’t want to forget to note the 10th anniversary of Slate magazine’s birth and the wide assortment of both complimentary and critical essays published on the site to commemorate this occasion. Among the more interesting entries is founding editor Michael Kinsley’s recollections of Slate’s origins and early development, adapted from his foreword to a new book, The Best of Slate: A 10th Anniversary Anthology.
