Laugh and Cry

This has been a particularly sorry week for U.S. justice and for common sense, in general. The fact that is also contained the Fourth of July, a holiday on which we’re supposed to celebrate the United States, makes the transgressions and obfuscations of these last seven days particularly regrettable.
