Republican’t presidential candidate Mitt Romney, desperate to get people to vote for him, is falling back on creaky right-wing efforts to scare Americans. “It’s pretty straight forward in my view,” he tells National Journal. “If Barack Obama gets re-elected, Iran will have a nuclear weapon and the world will change if that’s the case.” Romney should be ashamed of trying to employ unfounded fear in the pursuit of political power.
