After an unplanned hiatus of several months, The Rap Sheet’s succession of 40th-anniversary tributes to the 13 shows that made up The NBC Mystery Movie (1971-1977) resumes today with a look back at Madigan, the short-lived Richard Widmark series spawned by director Don Siegel’s 1968 movie of the same name.
