When you’re running for public office, it doesn’t hurt to have a sibling in show business. Bridget McCormack, a University of Michigan Law School professor who is campaigning for a nonpartisan seat on the Michigan Supreme Court, is getting a little help from her sister, Mary McCormack, who starred in the NBC-TV series The West Wing before putting in five seasons on USA Network’s In
Plain Sight.
As The Huffington Post notes, Mary McCormack has reunited a few familiar West Wing faces--including those of Martin Sheen, Allison Janney, and Bradley Whitford--for the video ad below that “discusses why it’s important to remember to vote in the nonpartisan part of [Michigan’s] ballot.”
